Sanyo TP X1

Sanyo TP X1

5/10 by Roscopc

Nice simple design. Looks like quality, but cheaply built. Very light plastic plinth, platter and internals. After a new ATN95E type stylus, new 25-inch narrow belt and speed adjustment, it can sound pretty good, but not something worth collecting. Wouldn't pay more than $30 initially. My daughter calls it her party turntable.
There's no opening in the platter to facilitate managing the belt and the arm retainer claw does a poor job of keeping the arm from swinging free. Still, it's sufficiently adjustable to treat your records well and provide acceptable fidelity.
