Sanyo Plus Q50

Sanyo Plus Q50

9/10 by bongos55

Love this deck! In the 70's I bought a Sanyo Plus FM tuner - crazy expensive, but it was great. Dumped it for pennies. After all these years I discover the Sanyo Plus Series had a TT line. Saw the Q50 on Craigslist and picked it up real cheap - for old times sake. Blown away by the build (carbon tone arm) and precision operation and it looks real good - sits right. This one has wiggled its way in past my Technics SL-Q3 and Sony PS-X6 favorites for now. Who would have thought Sanyo? Nothing like the junk they normally sold. Hands down a real hidden gem.

Faboulous, superb impact sound, no speed problems and still works after near 40 years
