Pioneer PL-930
I recently bought one of these as a fix and flip but it's ended up staying with me. The motor is fantastic, smooth, quiet and very stable. The tonearm is what makes this turntable so special to me, it's made from Polymer Graphite which is basically plastic infused with graphite, the benifit of this is twofold, you get a nice light weight tonearm that plays well with high compliance cartridges and it's also very stiff and non resonant. It's also a fully automatic turntable which isn't everyone's cup of tea but personally, I love, a fully automatic, direct drive turntable with a lightweight tonearm and best of all you can pick them up super cheap! As much as I hate to admit it but I like this TT more than my Dual 1219 and Technics SL-Q2.
perfect ,it works and sounds great and well built , with regular maintenance it works perfect for years ,we´re on 2022 and still runing perfect Very good turntable, works beautifully. The auto-function is nice and the speed always spot on. Easy to set up, very well isolated, sturdy high quality construction. Really good one that nobody raves about, so it's still cheap. |
