Technics SL-235 Manual

Postby Gregory Novak » 23 Jun 2008 23:22

My daughter picked up a Technics SL-235 (Frequency Gererator Servo) as is for $20. I ordered a belt and cartridge (both were missing) from Needle Doctor - hopefully it will work. Does anyone have (or know where I can get) a manual? Anyone know if this was a good model?

That is a good table at a great price. I have SL-23, a bit more basic, that really stands up well. If you have any problems with the speeds, just clean the insides of all the controls with a bit of contact/control cleaner.
Enjoy your music.

I just set up my new-to-me 235, and it seems to be in a endless repeat cycle. The tonearm moves up, over the record, lowers almost to the record, raises, moves back to it's home position, and repeats. Any ideas?
