Are the cue level problems ubiquitous?
I have a bit of ERM!! Cuers Droop, the arm lifter sometimes doesn't stay up,
it gets forgiven for killing my LP12 dead with sound quality and tracking ability..
I also hate to say,I have finally admitted to myself it is better than my Technics SL110 with SME 3009 S2 detachable,
as far as how good the sound is.
The arm is a miles better tracker than my 3009s and Regas..
I ended up getting the cheaper Pro-Ject Ground it E isolation platform..
I don't keep as well as I used to and don't have all the stuff for DIY,or a shed etc..
I kind of grudged the money until it arrived and then I used it..
It was £110 but Actually really good quality, you can't see the gloss piano black finish in the picture really,
it is a substantial beast .It makes my Mission Isoplat look like a joke..
This photo doest do it justice..All I know is it is the most solid, chiming and clean I have heard Piano notes..
The most real I have ever heard cymbals..
The best I have been able to identify the pitch of bass notes on Jazz Records and more..
I have some nice turntables myself,I have owned many more and listened to even more than that..
I can't believe the sound coming from the 1500 C..
My Ground it tweak has improved things further..
Quite a bit more than I expected,,I just wanted a platform I could get things level and a bit of isolation..
It seems to work really well in Combination with the Technics though..
I can't hear any colouration, but I haven't tried removing the turntable lid yet..
I know this has improved all my other turntables..
Even with the lid on my 1500 C seems streets ahead of my other turntables.
To think I used to listen to the Hifi press and wouldn't have touched a Technics..
Maybe the new ones really are even better though..
I think it is obvious I love mine..
I got Spike shoes,I think they were £4.50 on Ebay..

On the bottom of them I put these..

I had them leftover from renewing my melted rubber support bits on my other Rack..
I didn't fancy putting steel on glass...
that sounds a resonant recipe to me..
I am using an Audio Technica AT VM 95 ML in the accompanying AT headshell..
Not a bit of Bass lightness or over brightness in my experience..
It really sounds stunning, way beyond when I used a Jico SAS in a Shure V15 III..
I think there is synergy going on though..
The Denon DL110 sounds stunning in this arm too..
