Nakamichi cassette deck clicking noise?

Hi,
I have a Nakamichi 670ZX cassette deck. The deck works fine. But after a while when it is on, it start make quick clicking noise. It can still play the tape well. I will be thankful for information about this issue and how to fix it.

I had a Yamaha deck with direct drive on the capstan. When it began "ticking" while idling, I took it in for service - the capstan motor bearing was bad. Couldn't tell when listening to a tape.
