I bet it does sound marvelous- Dmitry has worked some sort of mojo I am sure. My original EPS Technics cart/stylus on it's way to Vladivostok for a new cantilever and tip. I can hardly imagine what the SL-15 will sound like after the Russian Magic :) Perhaps I will end up with the only Linear Tracking 15 with a carbonized bamboo cantilever! Now that would be something!

Jarrod,
I still do not know what I will do with your cartridge, but believe me, I will choose the most optimal and elegant repair option "205" :)

Today I upgraded the cartridge for our forum member.
Above the body of his cartridge, someone mocked slightly, for which I did not understand. Now, “103” has found a new image for itself, of course, not without my help and kindly betrayed components from the "VSN" company from St. Petersburg.

I was hoping for option 205 ! :) Thank you friend! I am working behind the scenes to complete the repairs (not sure if capacitors in crossover or open wires on the panels) on the Magnepan MGIIa's in time for the rebirth of the Technics cartridge and cantilever/stylus.

This one is a low output. They do the Dl110 and Dl160 high output but they give an entirely different presentation. Saying that, I haven't heard this one yet since the good work Dmitry did, so I don't know what the presentation is like yet!

Today was a busy day, I was tired, I did not have time to take photographs of the cartridges.
I was struck today by the sound of Benz Micro Ruby.
It is a rich, timbre-colored sound. I came across these cartridges previously twice, but the sound was neutral.
What is it, different rubies (in this cartridge, a ruby is used as a core for coils)?
One thing is clear that you may get lucky with buying Benz Ruby or not))

Passed the test Delta "air".
I was unable to correctly calculate the performance of the cartridge. Where did the energy of my generator go? She fell 4 (5) times!
The magnetic field defies the laws of logic))
In general, I am satisfied with my new cartridge, but the output is 0.15 mV ((. I’m not at all ready to increase the number of turns in the coils.

Yes the Ruby is an 'air core' with the core being a Ruby. Curious choice but the then owner of Benz liked to do things his way :).
