Elliptical stylus for the Sony XL-200 cartridge

Hi there

I have a nearly mint Sony PS-lx5 from 1982.
It is the european version that was mounted with the Sony XL-200 headshell and cartridge

I currently have a generic ND-200G mounted on the cartridge which has a spherical stylus. This was bought from Thakker.eu and it is performing quite nice. However i would prefer to have a elliptical one instead. I see from Thakkers website that they also sell a ND-200E for the Sony XL-20 cartridge.. Does anyone know if this stylus would fit my XL-200?

I think that the XL 200 is the XL 20 headshell integrated version, and so, yes, the ND 200 E will fit your XL 200. You can ask the question to Thakker.

There are elliptical replacement Styli from Tonacord NOS available which are quite cheap and quite good.

Thank you for your replies. Got confirmation from Thakker today that the 200E will fit my XL200 cartridge.
