Re: Show us your listening area!
The outlets are Furutech and were placed there when the basement was renovated.
Besides the brick wall and the rug there is a closet full of clothes that acts as a bass trap.
I am looking into a bit more of diffusion but everything sounds pretty nice as is.

No, that's what Joolgeezee posted up, Serafim doesn't show very much of the speakers he's using in the one and only picture he posted.tlscapital wrote: ↑11 Feb 2019 17:14TSA Wollemi 8" full range Audio Nirvana driver with AlNiCo magnet.

Re: Show us your listening area!
The beginning of my new listening space. I've already dropped the old acoustic ceiling. I'll be running new power for my gear, and putting in LED can lighting before putting up new drywall. I cant wait to get things set up.

I'm loving that, too, euromut...My dad built a bar in the basement and my own boss did the same thing for his family...Looks like a very cool place to hang out with friends, too! As reynolds said...Keep us posted on the progress! =D>

Re: Show us your listening area!
That’s a fireplace at the far end!
Nice high ceilings too? Sweet.
Where in the world are you? Is it dry down there?
Mine is pretty big but I had to demo out (similar) tongue in groove pine wall planks because the ends were sitting on the concrete and soaked up the moisture. The bottom 6” of all the boards were rotten; mildew on the back... some termite action too. They love wet wood.
Tore all that out and planned the room but that’s as far as I got.
I also have forced air heat so the nice high ceilings are spoiled by 1939 duct work. I need to rework that somehow. Part of the reason I’ve stalled.
