Broken Tonearm Wire
Yesterday, I did what many others here relate they had also done...I broke off the clip on one of the tiny tonearm wires when swapping a cartridge and need some advice from anyone who knows of the best place to order a replacement and enable me to get this deck back up and running. Also, any advice about the procedure would be appreciated. Seems like the hardest part will be stripping the jacket from the end of such tiny gauge wire without cutting through it. Thanks in advance for your responses.

You can get connecters off the bay for cheap,as far as skinning the wires I would try heating them enough to pull them off,Very Gently!

Re: Broken Tonearm Wire
We tend to replace the cable as it is often easier than stripping the thin wire.

Yes consider the purchase of a set of four cables for a few dollars, use the one you need.

Re: Broken Tonearm Wire
If you have a standard headshell, it i easy to replace the wires.
If you have wires that go straight through the arm, get the clip soldered back on. The trick is to tin both sides of the join, then put them together.
Cheers,
Alec
