Bought some shellac today

Post by cary114 » 18 Oct 2019 04:26

I enjoyed an auction today in a moderate Wyoming Breeze today and picked up a few 78's.

I Have not gone through them completely yet. But a brief look through them seems to be mostly 40's and 50's Country and Western.

Not only is it great to see someone besides me who can not resist buying random 78s, you even like BOTH kinds of music!😆 Hope you let us know more about your finds. Enjoy!

Bet you find a Sons of the Pioneers record in there ! There always seems to be one in a pile of 40 / 50's C & W 78's. Hank Snow too.

Bob, You are spot on with the Sons of the Pioneers, also Hank Williams, Hank Thompson, Lefty Frizzell and goes on and on.
I went to the auction looking for a turntable and found 78's. It was a double win. Ranch auctions can be so interesting. Another one tomorrow.
