Keesie, slade and sweet aren't my cup of tea, but that covers are really great!all dutch pressing I guess. I've seen some italian press at my local vinyl dealer and they're different but also visually great.
thanks again cheers K

Thanks K, I am stuck in the sixties, and Slade and Sweet are seventies. Still, those singles are really nice.
I do not collect specific Dutch vinyl or sleeves, as I bought several on Discogs as well, so I suppose some are from other countries.

Some great buys there Kindsaluv! I never saw that Procol Harum sleeve before! I wonder why the '+'sign is there. The T Rex sleeve arises the question:why only Marc Bolan on the front? He might have been the most important figure, but T Rex were TWO people.....The Clash/London Calling sleeve is good! Look at that couple playing their records! It seems as if it is LP's rather than singles. Although they seem late fifties, early sixties, one sleeve says 'Sex....' I think from the Sex Pistols. The sleeve on top of that seems Rolling Stones (Decca). Another one is ELV(is)and the last one is definitely Please Please me/Beatles. And about the two Beatles singles: GREAT!

thank you keesie.
the sign plus is just part of the cover, you can see another little one before the A of the title.
Marc Bolan is the one considered "T-Rex" I guess, nobody cared about Took.
and yes, that cover on the Clash record is definitely "never mind the B******s".
cheers K

Great sleeves there, kindsaluv! =D>

I actually just bought a few more, so I may have to get to sharing some real soon! :)

I also have a thing for that Donna Summer song...One of my all-time favorites! 8) It's why I posted it on IndigoRock's thread here...

https://www.vinylengine.com/turntable_f ... 5&t=105793

If you like Donna Summer, you'll probably like everything else we posted there! TOO MUCH FUNK FOR JUST ONE MAN! If you have any more "funky favorites" of your own, by all means, share your favorites there, too! :D

HI all,
Lately my crush for Serge Gainsbourg has grown madly and still has not reach his peak. After I read a couple of books, I have started to explore his work for other singers. When I’ve discovered the songs written for France Gall I had to search for all the singles: luckily I found on ebay at fair prices the EP you see here.
France Gall – N’ecoute pas les idoles EP – Laisse tomber les filles EP - Poupee de cirè Poupee de son EP – Teenie-Weenie-Boppie EP

https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-abmLC3pxLME/ ... l%2BEP.jpg

Back of the EPs.

https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-oN5E9ZT8sjY/ ... 2Bback.jpg

While searching I’ve discovered that the tongue you see on the sleeve can make the difference in prices (just like the OBI in the Japanese pressings). I’m not sure what was useful for (to archive the records for sellers?), if you know please tell me

https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lKeKoEbOcOE/ ... gue%2B.jpg
Another oddity, and you can see the spines of the EP, what does it mean 2 3 or 4th series? I fought it was related to the pressings, but looking on Discogs seems not (example, Laisse tomber les filles is “4e series”, but the pressings were 2..).

These singles are impossible to find here in Italy but the next one I’ve found it from a seller here in Tuscany.
Francois Hardy – Comment te dire adieu.
This EP is a little gem, with also L’anamour (always Gainsbourg) and a cover of L. Cohen's Suzanne

https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WgqJg2H6bP8/ ... u%2BEP.jpg

Apart from Serge and related, I have found these two
The Beatles – I should have known better (Parlophon ITA)
The cover is ruined but the price was fine

https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9uxDePVVW9I/ ... better.jpg

This is one of my favourite ever, could not resist having it
The Smiths – William, it was really nothing (ITA)

https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dphnBoH5l3c/ ... othing.jpg

And in the end, these is a selection listened after Vinyl Master talked of the Funky thread. This bunch is for you VM

Cheers
