Record clamps for 7-inch records?

Post by praxicoide » 03 Jun 2018 17:21

Are there record clamps for 7-inch records? Would they help with warping?

I have a few singles that are a bit warped and I thought that this might help at least mitigate this issue.

Not so much IMO. The best way to get rid of the warp is to unwrap them and that is a complicated matter.

Those adapter & clamp for 45's serve mainly to prevent the record to slip on the the DJ/scratcher felt mat.

I don't have such a device and I use a "classic" heavy record adapter onto which I slide my 45's with ease.

Those 45's adapter & clamp will prove too much work to place and pick-up the records in position directly.
