Problem with PL 560

Postby josearrocha61 » 11 Jan 2017 21:52

Hi to all
Thank you for accepting me in your forum.

I have a Pioneer PL 560 with problems, when I press the start button the motor rotates 180 degrees in one direction and then it returns in the opposite direction, then continues with these cycles.
I am trying to repair it but I do not have the service manual and the information on the integrated circuits is not available on the net (eg PA2005, PA2004).

I'm visually looking for some damaged components, like blown capacitors.
I am also using the service manual of model PL 540 as a reference, as they use the same engine and driver, but I can not find the damaged component.

Any suggestions will be of great help

Thank you very much

The 560 has the same drive unit and speed control as the 630, apparently.
There is a service manual for the 630, here: https://www.vinylengine.com/library/pio ... -630.shtml

Cheers,
Alec

My PL-630 would do that in "lock" but worked in manual. Cleaning the switches with deoxit fixed it right up.

Thank you rhomanski, it is a good idea to do a complete cleaning.
