Hi all I've reposted in this part as I only realised you had a seperate pioneer section.
Hope you can see pic
I've only one of those brackets on my turntable I'm sure there's 2 but am not sure if there only purpose is to stop the table falling out of base if turned over accidentally ?[

Hi, the only reason the brackets are there is to keep the plinth in the base. And only having one is fine unless you are planning on flipping the turntable over for some reason. :? If you hear anything rolling around inside the turntable it could be the other bracket. I have found a couple of these brackets inside the plinth of various turntables I have worked on over the years. I hope this helps
