Pioneer PL-960 is this rare?

Post by truedeth » 23 Sep 2019 22:43

Just got this nice turntable for my dad, and while doing light research I could barely find anything about this particular model. It's not even in the database here on vinyl engine!

Did I stumble upon a rare item?

Hi, it's not rare it was just made close to the end of Pioneer's run with turntables. This turntable could have come with a system that they sold. Usually the system included a rack, amp, tuner, cd player or cassette deck, Eq and speakers. Not a bad turntable but it's very limited on adjustments do to it being a T4P type turntable. I hope this helps

That helps a lot! I love p-mount even though it has disadvantages. Thanks so much!
