Looking for Help - Pioneer MU-7 spindle bearing questions.

Postby PaulKehayas » 14 Mar 2018 20:59

My thrust plate is non existent.
I am wondering what I can use?
I cribbed one from a Lenco in progress and am wondering where I can get a proper one.
I believe this is the same unit as the PL-5 Idler.
Anybody have any Help they can offer?
Thanks.

Hi Paul, the spindle housing on that turntable looks a lot like the one used in the PL 50/50A. I just replaced the Thrust bearings on two pioneer Pl 50's and one PL50a turntables. I bought new thrust bearings from Ebay. Just go to Ebay and type in Thrust bearing for pioneer PL 50 turntable in there search engine. A bunch of sellers will pop up and maybe they will fit the turntable you have. I hope this helps.

I should clarify.
It's more like the PL-6A actually.

Just contacted Pat Leaver.
He has that PL-50 one that seems to be close.
It should work. Thank you!
