replacement "velvet lips"

I use a Nitty Gritty 1.0... it has served me well over the years. Its about that time I need to change the "velvet lips".

Has anyone used a cheaper substitute for these overpriced "lips"?

OK, fair enough. They are closing their doors anyways so you will need another source. Here is a Walmart fix:
