Pink Floyd, Obscured by Clouds, 1972. Music from LaVallée.
I guess this is a soundtrack. The hype sticker is from the record.
Prog rock. Edit: A close look reveals this tape was recorded over. It previously had Meddle, and Dark side of the Moon.

Joe Satriani, The Extremist, 1992.
This was apparently recorded on my former Beocenter 2200 while at semi-uni. The source would have been my CD.
Guitar-shredding instrumental prog rock.

Gytha Ogg's Ramtop Almanac (Compilation named in honour of one of Terry Pratchett's famous characters).
That's Metal CD/IVF 100 tape, recorded around 1991 or so, no Dolby, played on my Nak ZX-7. Most tracks from CD/CD Singles.
Sounds great even today...
