I use something very similar and it works just as well as something that costs $25 from the hardware store. If I remember correctly, I got the thing for free.

Nottingham Analogue supply a pair of round section, ie cylindrical spirit levels that will roll if they're not on a flat surface. You use them at 90º to each other.

The Bubble level from Mcmaster is only $2.29 + they send everything next day FeEx at very reasonable pricies. If you have time check out their site, they have everything.

I use the one which came free with my Benz cartridge. Does a sterling job.
