Hi-
Curious if anyone has experience owning a Keith Monk Record Cleaning Machine.
I purchased one and it had an issue. They sent me another and the same issue occurred making it unusable until fixed. Both new and both issues came up within the first hour of use.
They have been great about getting this solved but I’m on the fence of returning for a full refund or see if they decide to send a third machine If I even want to go down that road.
Don’t want to go into details about issues now, just trying to get feedback from anyone who has owned these for a while.
They cleaned the few record I got to use it with great.

Re: Keith Monk Record Cleaning Machine
I was given an interesting RCM a few months ago. It seems to be a KM based coin operated machine. The vacuum wand and brush system are definitely very old KM pieces. The turntable is driven by a Lenco motor and idler unit. The coin mechanism is gone. My initial trials with it were poor, as the vacuum pump needed a rebuild.
I wish you luck with yours. Look for my full report when I’m done restoring this beast.

I'd say it's worth the trouble. In my book still the best of all. And BTW it's Monks, not Monk.
