Hi, I can make one, or you can. For an Export I would use a piece of gloss-black acrylic 10mm thick, 104mm square. I will dig out a template I have some time, and post measurements. Did you lose the bolts and spacers as well, or do you still have them?

Hi Tim.

I still have the bolts but i must check for spacers.
I don't remenber where spacers where positionned, or even if there where spacers.
i think armboard was dircectly fixed on suspended plateau with bolts.
But let me check.

Hi Tim

I got all bolts and spacers.
I just need an armboard.
Actualy i just need correct measurements in order to make it built by a friend in Art school.
Do you have these measures or blueprint?
Thanks

Sorry Olteve,

Got caught up in Real Life, and completely forgot. Here are the dimensions I use for ones I make.

Armboard: 102mm x 102mm
Mounting holes: 7mm diameter centred on the corners of an 80mm square

Rega hole: 29mm hole centred on a point 42mm from the front of the armboard, and 55mm from the left (platter) side.

If you have a three-point mount rega you will need to consult a Rega mounting template and centre them about the hole; I think it is three 6mm holes at radius 24mm from the centre of the arm hole, 120 degrees apart, two at the front and one at the back -- but I am not certain!

Hi Tim.

Nice to see ou back, and thanks a lot for this template.
I understand you were busy and i confess i am impatient to listen to my PT again.
I need one more information before i start.
Can you confirm 10mm thickness of the armboard, or is it another value?

Thanks again.

Hi Olteve.

Within reason[1], the thickness does not matter. The original pressed-steel armboards were only (about) 2mm thick.

The important thing it the height of the top of the armboard above the subchassis. This is 31mm, so if you use 10mm thick acrylic, you will need a rigid 21mm spacer to hold the armboard at the right height.

[1] Some arms (e.g. some Linns and Heliuses, and modern Rega) have short bolts which screw into an arm collar; they may be too short to put through a thick armboard, so you will need longer bolts. Also, if you need weights to balance the arm, too thick an armboard may not leave room for the weights, which will have to be attached elsewhere.

Great;

Because i have à 7mm thick piece of acrylic that would perfectly be cutted and perforated .
By the way my Michell has an adjustable collar to adapt the arm's height.
Thank you for these precisions.
I will start next monday and rell you you about the result.
