DC Motor For an PT Anniversary

Post by Jagtar » 03 Sep 2017 12:39

I have a few turntables but recently bought just the PSU speed controller for a PT Anniversary which I need a DC motor for. Someone mentioned that the Premotec DC motor with a sensor might be the correct one but I know very little about this.

My aim is to set up another Linn LP12 with a pink Link top plate and this Anni psu so need Help to find the correct motor. It is one of my intended projects so would like to have a go and I know there are much more experienced members on here than myself.

Hi,

I think I have seen some of the Escap motors which were used in the PT1 also in an anniversary, in which case

would be a source (although you will need to find a suitable pulley)

It may be worth contacting True Point for Help on this...

Hi Tim

Thanks very much, looks very promising so will contact True Point regarding the pulley. I just need to ensure it's going to be the correct motor because someone on another forum mentioned that the motor might need to have a sensor if it has a tacho.
