Threaded or Pressed?

is the "spindle" on the inverted main bearing on the PTTOO etc.etc. screwed or pressed into the main housing?

I believe it is an interference fit but one man who will know is Charles Melling of True-Point

thanks Tim. i'm beginning to suspect that the ball is worn, had a good look at the sapphire and its fine but there is a ring of oil on the tapered part. which to me suggests that things are a bit on the tight side.

pretty sure that there is rumble form it.

i'm thinking of sending it off to trupoint but i'll have to be sitting down for the bill.
