The Lovejoys on the Wackies record label. Nice ladies singing harmoniously with that fine reggae sway accompanying them.

Hey guys, recently stumbled onto Casualties of Cool, feat Devin Townsend and Che Aimee Dorval. A side of Devin that I did not know about, laidback Country Rock...

Cheers, Ant.

I have their Lovers Rock Reggae Style album also from Wackie’s. So good.

Also from Wackie’s I have Horace Andy’s Dance Hall Style and Wayne Jarrett Showcase 1. Both excellent.

Good to hear of another Wackies label devotee. They put out some very fine reggae and had a unique studio sound. I'm a big fan of Horace Andy as well. I have Wackies live recording of his, Exclusively.

Ron Carter. I have plenty of Jazz he has played on but none of his albums as a leader. Whilst hunting around for albums with a high dynamic range for testing purposes that were not stodgy audiophool fare came across his late 70s recordings. Now planning how to get them all past the wife...

This is off of an older album (2006), but I've been enjoying both this album and Real Lessons in Cynicism (2015) over the past couple months.
