Sincere thanks to @Paff for bringing this copy to my attention!

It arrived.... 3 days from Holland is very good actually, quite impressed!

@vinyl master I know this is a favorite for you too

Lisa Loeb and the Nine Stories - Stay (I missed you) 2019 RSD Black Friday Limited Edition of 800 copies on Translucent Red Vinyl

You're welcome. What did you think of it? While I do think (as I said before) Stay is an overplayed song, listening to it on vinyl I could hear more layers of instrumentation and vocals. I mostly bought this limited release for the live tracks, and I think those were well worth the price. Really good live recordings, only wish there were more of them (I particularly enjoy the two chord Alone....very powerful despite it's utter simplicity. Would have loved a live version of that here)

I really enjoyed it. I'm really only wanting Stay, but it's a lovely pressing and as you say, the separation is very clear. I loved the live tracks, and it really highlights the bands talents. Her voice is so effortless, it is a shame they didn't get more success. I only hope this reissue reinvigorates peoples interests.

It's a really important release for me. I'd been through two copies of the original single but finding one in the Mint / Near Mint condition I craved was proving difficult, so this ticks all the boxes for me.

I didn't realise how limited the run was, only 800 copies! Count myself lucky even if I overpaid!

Got a great LP of Winelight by Grover Washington Jr., one of my favorites growing-up. New to collecting and playing records. Any must haves for a collection? or just some of your favorites?

Well after pre-ordering them 2 months ago, they've finally arrived! :-)

Also ordered was the MoFi Foreigner 4

Ironic (or coincidental) thing about the Foreigner album is it is numbered at 1981 which is the year of original release! :-)

Yes! 4 nice finds of 70s recordings at a local second hand store. 3 Nonesuch recordings (2 collections of Haydn symphonies and a Bach lute collection) and a historic Turnabout Vox recording of Brahms Symphony #4 (Furtwangler conducting). The sleeves on a couple of the Haydn Symphonies indicate that they have been well loved but all are in excellent condition and, after a good cleaning, sound almost pristine. $2 each.

This isn't the original, the original had a overlay of a sample that Spandau Ballet sued them for removal of and Spandau won. I'm waiting until after Christmas to get my hands on an original copy but they're fairly costly.

I bought the 2016 (or is it 2012?) reissue of ‘Bad’ and ‘Thriller’ and they both sound amazing. I can only imagine an original pressing, must be even better!
