Yeah, I bought some vinyl!! I bought an album, and a 45 RPM boxset.
I got Barbra Streisand's first album, and a Perry Como six 45 RPM box set. It came out in 1948! Maybe there's someone on here who remember's when it came out?

Fluke - Slap It (The Return) 2001 UK Original NM off discogs

R-40759-1563605347-8918.jpeg.jpg

This is the original version of the track which is over 11 minutes long. It was later remixed for the album version on Puppy, and then as a single release that was made famous on The Matrix Revolutions, the cave club scene. IMO one of the all out best and sexiest club tunes ever written. And to find it in this condition is very rare, so happy!
Oh man...fluke is great. I was introduced to it from MTV'S Amp and the WipeOut series of PlayStation games.
Oh man, didn't realise they were on the wipeout soundtrack, what a great game!

Unfortunately their albums have never been repressed and cost a fortune save for "Fluke", their latest which I picked up at cost new.

They were superb, such a shame they never really got the attention they deserved.
Yeah, Atom Bomb and U Six are on Wipeout XL/2097, Absurd and Goodnight Lover(Wipeout edit) are in Wipeout 64. There is also a killer CD soundtrack that was released called Wipeout XL and it is just pure amazing house music.
The best thing is the PlayStation games are all Redbook audio so the discs can be played in a CD player (as long as you skip track 1)

Man, I only played wipeout 1 on the original PS, think it came with the console, but the soundtrack totally passed me by. That was probably before I really got into dance music though.

I’m desperately after a good copy of Risotto, but prices are sky high atm as not many sellers.

Heads up for those of you who enjoyed Jeff Goldblums debut album. They’ve just opened pre-orders for a signed copy of their upcoming second album, but it seems to be a hidden link, not reachable through their website unless you know the specific address;

Yep, and I'm lucky enough to have been given a friends beaten up copy of this when they divested themselves during a move: https://www.discogs.com/Various-Wipeout ... ease/35408

Oh my God I did not know it was on vinyl. My CD got stolen when my CD wallet was taken from my locker in highschool.i still have the case in my shelf so I can have a reminder to constantly look for a replacement.
Now I may have to look for the vinyl release!

I'd keep hold of that, even beaten up it's very collectible.

Always wanted this and it sounds incredible. I still need to find Up and Reveal to complete my R.E.M. collection.

Went into my local 2nd hand record emporium on Friday afternoon, Drumbeats, and Pete (owner) was asking where I'd been and I nearly said, buying elsewhere as your pricing is way OTT! I held back and did a peruse (he has even more stock and still mostly ungraded, uncatalogued!)

Anyway, I hit the motherlode. I collect Marillion vinyl, have done since they started releasing back in late 1982. I have all the Fish (Derek Dick) era albums, singles, CDs, CD Singles and most of the 12" picture discs. I have all the 12" singles of this era but was missing some of the matching picture 12" singles.

He had, miraculously, a box of Marillion stuff and in the midst were some of the 12" single pic discs I was missing. I talked him down on price and paid £33 for this collection of 5! :D

They are (L-R, top row then lower): -

Heart of Lothian (one of my all time favourite tracks, Marillion or not)
Punch & Judy
Incommunicado
Warm Wet Circles
Sugar Mice

So these go alongside my others I posted in the Pic Disc thread a few days ago: -

Top Row L-R, then bottom

Grendel (all 18 minutes of it!) - special RSD release from a couple of years ago
Market Square Heroes
Garden Party (actually a shaped 7")
Assassing
Lavender
Kayleigh

Happy bunny! :-)

I was looking for the Sly and Robbie album as I really liked the single Boops (Here To Go), I don't know why I didn't buy it when it was released #-o
The others I'd been looking out for aptart from the Dusty Springfield album.

Some resent pickups from the last week or so.
