Kate Bush ‎– Remastered In Vinyl I and Remastered In Vinyl II
45643
I'd been looking at buying some Kate Bush albums for some time, and these weren’t a bad price.

I picked up a few today; in the bins found..

Hüsker Dü - Metal Circus
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On (mispress, side 2 is side 2 of the Baby Driver soundtrack)
Agent Orange - Bloodstains
Pink Floyd - Relics

and then picked up two new pressings
Descendants - Everything Sucks (the Punk Rock Bowling pressing, black/white marbled vinyl)
and
Miles Davis - The Complete Birth of Cool
• This is, without a doubt the best sounding version of this I have. Period, full stop. Totally was worth picking up without the second disk.

Woah that's a crazy mis-pressing! Also hüsket do is great. I bought an iPod on eBay and it had Candy Apple Grey on it and I thought it was awesome.

I tried, but struck out, sort of. My wife and I went out to our usual spots looking but found nothing other than the usual suspects (Herb Alpert, Neil Diamond, Engelbert Humperdinck) so I came home empty handed.

Then a few minutes after we got home, our neighbor (whom has never spoken to me) shows up at our door with 2 bags of vinyl, both 33’s and 45’s. His aunt had passed and he inherited them out of a storage locker. He told me he had seen me going through bins at the local shops. He said I could do with them as I wished, some of them may may not be worth saving. Some where moldy, some scratched bad, but on the whole it was a decent lot, especially for free. Got stuff from (lots of) Elvis, Cher, Journey, Dylan, McCartney and lots Ive never heard of. Most of the covers have heavy wear, but a large portion of them are nice enough to save or are in good shape already. A little work and they will be ready to bring enjoyment once again.

It was a very nice surprise and a kind thing to do. A bit of good karma coming back around to me.

Saturday, "The Lonesome Jubilee" by John Cougar Mellencamp at a thrift store for 1€ in pretty much flawless shape. I remember the video for "Paper in fire" from the TV but hadn't heard the rest of the album. It's brilliant!

Always good to hear that this stuff isn't going to the landfills, Tedw9...And it's proof positive that if you give something away (even when you're not looking for it), sometimes, you get something back...

Picked these up after putting all the inventory vinyl in long boxes instead of totes at work. I couldn't see any more warped vinyl!

How is this album? I've only had the pleasure to hear him play one song on some chat show but I liked it and I like the man and the film artist so this album could make its way on my to-buy list. :D

I haven't played it yet, will be spinning tonight so will let you know. It's a half speed mastered 45 recording and apparently the SQ is absolutely top notch, looking forward to it.

Just giving it a spin now.... Just get it! Wonderful SQ and a lovely collection of uplifting tracks. Just a great album all round.
