...And we'll remember the way we were...

Rest in peace, lovely lady...There will never be another star like you in the universe...Your name will live forever in the many hearts who adored you, your movies and your music...May gentle sleep and good night dreams be yours for all eternity! [-o<

And Peggy Lipton over the weekend.
Phil Brown
And don't worry, Phil...I didn't forget about Peggy, either...Former wife of Quincy Jones? Check! Mother of actresses Rashida and Kidada Jones? Check! Check! And young star of the great 60's series, "The Mod Squad", where she played one of three "hippie cops" along with Clarence Williams III and Michael Cole? Check! Check! Check! =D> All true, but do you remember that she was also a singer? :-k Two recent discoveries, which I think are overlooked gems include Doris Day's "Latin For Lovers" album and the one and only self-titled release from Peggy Lipton on Ode...Here are a couple of gems from Peggy, as well!

Rest in peace to Peggy, too! :(

So many in a short period of time. Also Yesterday Tim Conway maybe not a musician or singer but one hell of a comedian.

RIP Tim, Peggy and Doris.

Well, actually Tim Conway did appear on a couple comedy albums with Ernie Anderson (better known as horror host Ghoulardi) and this 45'...

In any case, R.I.P. to all of them! :(

R.I.P. Leon

Fred
Man, such sad news, Fred...I've always liked his stuff! I have this on 45 rpm...

Of course, many people might remember his theme to "Harry & The Hendersons"...

Or more famously, the theme to the 80's sitcom, "Mr. Belvedere"! :)

Then, there is his infamous Budweiser ad...

He didn't do too many talk shows, either, but he did appear with Melmac's favorite son!

Then again, we shouldn't say too much, because we wouldn't want to talk about him when he's gone...

So, instead I will say R.I.P. to the most lovable rascal to come along in a blue moon and bid him a fond adieu with a tip of the hat... :(

And the hits just keep on coming! :(

I'm missing him already!!

Remember that one from the opening scenes of "High Fidelity"??? :-k

Here's another favorite of mine!

This is good, too! 8)

Anyone else have any favorites from Roky or The 13th Floor Elevators? :-k
