RIP Nick Knox, aged just 60. He was drummer with The Cramps from 1977 to 1991.

Nick Knox had a great original style and he looked real cool when he played. One of my favourite Knox moments is the Hot Pearl Snatch where he plays the same fill on every other bar throughout the entire song.

The first time I saw them was at Rock City as part of the Date with Elvis tour back in 1986. One of the best live bands ever.

I know he wasn't a musician, but if any of you guys were fans of radio like I am, I must sadly note the passing of Mr. Dan Ingram...

The way he died is equally as bad...He was a legend at WABC and later WCBS...I have some vinyl records of his "Top 40 Satellite Survey", in fact...A true loss and a man who won't be forgotten! R.I.P. Dan! :(

Another non musician but, a US reality show media personality....
Richard Benjamin Harrison.... the "old man" on "Pawn Stars" has died.

He was 77 years old and suffered Parkinson disease etc for quite some time.

A very strange coincidence...I found a copy of The Bay City Rollers' "Greatest Hits" in the thrift store today and have just found out that Alan Longmuir, the bassist for the group, has passed away at the age of 70...

https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/07/05/ ... and-at-70/

What you guys might not know is that the group picked their name by pointing at a map and picking out the city of Bay City, Michigan, which I had a chance to "roll" through recently! Anyway, in his honor, a few personal favorites from the group...

I could tell by the accents they weren't from Michigan!

Sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Longmuir.

It was in January, but no one seemed to notice.
Jim Rodford former Kinks bassist (the third one) passed away after a fall in his house.
