Here are some of the offerings this year...

I'm looking at the "Centerfield" picture disc, the Johnny Cash 7", The Dap-Kings' instrumental album, the Gov't Mule 12", the Jimi Hendrix 7", the George Martin LP, the previously unreleased Chic-Johnny Mathis collaboration, the Van Morrison 7" and "Alternative Moondance" LP, the Sugar Ray 7" (which to my knowledge was never released on a 45' in the U.S., other than rare U.K. single), The "Jazz Dispensary" LP, the Grant Green live albums and the "Living On Soul" DVD...There is a lot out there and there may be other things on my list, as well...

But, what are your "wants"? There's a Led Zeppelin and a Pink Floyd release, too...I know there is something for everyone, and I'm hopeful I'll find a few things...

The Sundays release is a must-have for me. I've picked up their previous two at other RSDs. I'm also hoping to snag the two Cure LPs, "Lost Whispers" by Evanescence, "Kid Kruschev" by Sleigh Bells, "1999" by Prince, and "Keep It Thoro" by Prodigy

The only one I am interested in is The Residents Warner Brothers Album, but I just can't deal with hypercompetitive wrangling for RSD releases, so will probably wait to see if I can get it later at a decent price: https://recordstoreday.com/SpecialRelease/10354

There are over four hundred releases. Crazy. Of course everyone is going to jump on the bandwagon, these seem to get top dollar.

Last year I went to a local store that doesn’t do the new rsd releases, but sets out a few hundred used releases for the first time. Snagged a couple of gems last year this way and was out the door for under $20, or less than a single official rsd release... I’ll probably do that again.

I’m not at all prepared for it this year. There’s a great store about 30 mins away that tends to have most titles, but of course you have to get there early!

There are a few I’m looking at:

Zero 7 7” collection
couple of Sigur Ros
Fleetwood Mac Tango in the Night Alternate
Marvin Gaye Let’s Get it On (cos you can’t have enough copies!)
The Streets Remixes & B Sides.

If I could get those, I’d be happy!

Actually, this thread has got me all excited!

Since this is our first one we're all excited and it's turning into an all day street party with live bands , DJs , coffee and food vans @ the store.

I looking at the mono pressing of Piper of the Gates Of Dawn by Floyd, & possibly the Led Zeppelin release. Just don't think I can wake up early enough to score either of the 2. Last year when I got there, just after opening, over 100 people on line.

Yikes!.

Me and a buddy always arrive at 5AM and wait. Oddly enough, the last two years we've wound up in EXACTLY the same position in line ... 6 and 7.

Was interested in the Floyd Mono too but there won't be any in our town and so far the special 'oncosts' we seem to attract here makes it unaffordale. Will be looking for a non-RSD release later just without the gimmick cover.

Queuing since 7am (late to the party), the early birds camped overnight! Still about 50 people in front of me, store opened at 8am.
