Y'all said..."Now, if we could get Tony (VinylMaster) to come to Minneapolis for a visit, we’d be sure to have a hoot!"
D'ya think?!
I am looking forward to THAT day...go around the town, it'd take the whole weekend, maybe a 3 dayer like Woodstock...(calm yerself, Dasher  =D> 8) )
It DOES sound like a great time! Hey, Tony! come on down!
Maybe one day, my friends...Maybe one day! [-o<

If I could only get away long enough... :(

You guys certainly are tempting me!

I have a few more "candy stores" here in and around the "D", though, that I plan on visiting in the future, so I don't think I'll run out of places to check out, at least not yet! Stay tuned, as they say... 8)

In the meantime, I'm loving all these adventures, guys...Keep 'em coming! =D>

Hey, Dash...If you check out any more great shops in The City Of Lakes and/or cause any Mill City mayhem, make sure to keep us posted!

And share your record finds in the "Did You Buy Any Vinyl?" and "Budget Record Collecting" threads, too! :D

You're so right, vm, the stores are all over the place...I enjoyed creating "Mill City Mayjem (didn't you, G? 8) ).
This was only the 2nd time I'd been there. It's a great store, both happy-place AND volume. Again, as last time, I was there, I remembered later more than I found, then. Great store!
Not sure where my travels (heavy on the "ravels", as in "UNravels") take me today, but I'm sure to get somewhere...got homey things to get and I go plast many shops in any direction. I'll be around!

OK, to-DAY, I was experiencing issues with the Garrard DD-75, despite my attempts to remedy the issues...like a cantilever that wouldn't adjust...had it all the way back in the "saddle" and still couldn't straighten it...
So off to Hifi Sound...hey, they got records...two birds, right?

Oh, yeah...Hifi Sound has records, too...
They have a buyer who goes aroun to estate sales and auctions and knows audiophiles scaling back...their stock is mostly pristine condition fare...at reasonable prices for said condition.
This first one is as you walk in the front door...

Nice, Dasher! I like the racks and shelves in that place!! =D>

Just curious, but was the Pioneer something you were actively considering or were you just drooling with no intention to buy? :-k

I know you said you had a Teac A1200 once upon a time, but do you have a reel to reel machine now? :-k

1. Me, roo, and I like what resides on them...
2. Yes, yes, not necessarily...
3. No and that's why I was drooling and was considering buying it...kinda looks like the A-1200, don'it?
Focus, Dasher, focus...Garrard, first...maybe? That'd be anther thread, wouldn't it? #-o

Ah, it IS nice for the price, considering I've seen some reel players in the $400-500 range...Then again, you could relive your youth for a lot less...How's THIS one sound? :-k

https://www.ebay.com/itm/TEAC-A-1200-Re ... Sw8-lcfrSb

A fun project for a FRACTION of the cost!

And for $50 more, some media for it locally!

If you did get those, I'd love to own that Free Design reel, since I do already have two of their other albums on Vol. 24 here...

You remember the stash I bought when I picked up this guy, right? :-k

https://www.vinylengine.com/turntable_f ... p?t=104750

You know, just a thought, but a good reel-to-reel machine like the one you once had, whether it be the Teac or Pioneer, could be just what the doctor ordered... :-k

Food for thought, anyway... 8-[
