Very long longshot...

Post by analoged » 19 Jan 2020 00:00

Hello,
I picked up a CS5000 recently and it looks to be in good nick.
Except for a glue spot where the "Audiophile Concept" badge used to be.
So,I figured if I could possibly find one, this might be the place for a small miracle. If anyone has one of these that lost it's way,and are willing to help me out, please help.
Private message me,or?
Here is what it looked like.
Thank you,Ed

Not mine, but it's available on eBay:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293432836413

(If you're in the US, it states that it doesn't ship to the US, but maybe you can contact them and plead your case)

I inquired about shipping to USA even though ad states no ship to USA,I never got a reply.
If someone in England could help me out ,I would appreciate it.
I'll pay all ship costs.
Anyone?

If he'll ship to UK, I'll grab it and ship on at cost...

Edit - checked the link and he's in UK so I will grab and if you PM me details we'll look to get it shipped on. :D

Stay tuned...
Here is a pic of the glue mark.I attempted removal with alcohol,it didn't touch this.I was worried about making it worse by getting too aggressive.
Any idea of type of glue?

Well, thanks to one very helpful and generous member in the UK,I was able to obtain this badge and make this table complete and beautiful again.Yes ,it wasn't a matter of it running properly ,but it makes a huge difference to it's appearance. She's a beauty.
So,I want to thank this forum, andysomnifac(for finding the auction) and member Tony for making this become a reality.
Thank you,Ed
