Dual Suspension Springs

Post by chazglenn3 » 20 Feb 2019 23:10

I have a Dual 1019 that is missing one of the suspension springs. I have looked on eBay and as far as I can tell all of the springs are the same. Especially between 10XX and 12XX turntables. Would that be a true statement?

I would think the springs on the 1019 would be stronger since it has a heavier platter and motor.

You may want to try contacting Organ Donor Parts, or maybe someone here may have a spare?

Hi,
Suspension spring depend on the weight they have to support. For some models such as the 1010, depending on the motor supplied on the unit, the suspension spring will also change.
As the 1009 (not the 109sk/sk2/F..) and the 1019 came with only one motor, the springs are part number 12F 314 or new number 200 726.
If you require some, these are supposed to come from a 1009:
