Best Dual brew?

Post by T68 » 11 Jan 2019 17:48

Just pondering which beer goes best with a spin of some good music on a Dual. Maybe Spaten, a fine brew from Münich?

Cheers from Sweden and have a good weekend!

What was I thinking?! Your right K. Got to look for a Schwarzwald beer next time I stock up :-) /T
(To my defense: I drive BMW motorcycles, hence the taste for that Bavarian stuff)

Ok, that mitigates it somewhat...
My grandparents also came from Bavaria (Nittenau) so I guess we'll have to make a bit of an exception,,,
Cheers und Prosit!

UK brewed European (and Australian) lagers and beers usually taste awful compared to the originals for some reason. I'll take whatever's in our fridge at any one time or go down the pub if I fancy a pint of pour best room-temp bitter..... (I can't afford to be fussy these days ;) )

Got to say in recent times I developed a taste for our own Doom Bar ale, but very few pubs our way have it on tap, so I make do with the odd bottle... Don't think Duals were ever made in Cornwall though

Enjoying a 3 Floyd's Space Station Middle Finger APA at the moment -- and loving the results of hanging 6 homemade acoustic panels in the listening room.

I've been known to enjoy a glass of fine red wine or Oban scotch while listening to Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin on either on of my very fine Dual's. Of course, I can attest to Klaus' good taste in beer! Yummy.

Anchor Coffee Porter if you can find it. I have not tasted a Schwarzwalder beer, only Schwarzwald cake (Swedish "Schwarzwald cake"). I don't know how it stands up to the real thing.

Belhaven Scottish ale.
OK, so it isn't German, but it is tasty.
