Have any of you guys converted 505 as 12 volts? There is a limited store as 505 230/110 volt-motors but plenty of the 12 volts variants.

Hi,
Just as a reminder, this 12 volt variant motor is for AC only- not DC. The specs for the 12 volt motors can be seen in the 1256/57 service manual.

Ac is the 230volts version also. And tt:s like Thorens TD-320 is 16v AC. It that a problem to us?

oskuk: Shouldn't be all that difficult. However, if we were talking about a 505er with missing motor, you'd need to make sure that you get the SM112-1, not the SM112, as the motor needs to sport the matching top plate design for the chassis plate. Whereas for an exemplar with a dead SM100-1 you could grab either version, as you could still swap the wrong top plate of the SM112 for the correct one of the broken SM100-1.
