A nice leafy village just outside of the Leicester City suburbs. I say it's nice based upon how rough the bit of Leicester was that we used to live in!

I live in Geneva, third city of Switzerland, far west of the country.

A small city (150'000~, 450'000 for the county), with a lot of International organisations headquarters and a good university.

What an interesting idea it was to post this, though I see the last response was in 2003 - that's 14 years ago! Not the top in the popularity stakes. Well, for whoever is interested, I'm in Johannesburg, in South Africa, and the main reason I bothereed to reply is that there doesn't seem to be anyone else from this part of the world on the forum.

Thanks for pointing that out to me. Oh yes, now it looks more interesting. I was surprised at what looked like the lack of activity, but I see there's been plenty. Fascinating to see all the places in the world represented.

I'm in NE Tennessee, in the southeast. There are two major mountain chains here, the blue ridge and the smokies. I'm originally from the New York metropolitan area.
