Where in the World

Post by Ken » 26 Feb 2003 13:04

Ever wondered where in the world other members live?

I will start off; I live about 40 minutes south of Perth in Western Australia.

Beautiful place over looking the Indian Ocean.

I'm in the peak district in England, not quite as warm but pretty nonetheless and great hill walking country. Manchester and Nottingham are only an hour away  when I feel like taking in a little city night life. Cheers JaS

Portland, Oregon in the U.S.A.  - picturesque city in the North West corner of America.  The city surrounds a commercial harbour with a big green park on the waterfront where jazz bands come to play festivals in the summer... The downside?  I think it may rain more here than it does in London! (and that's saying something) I heard that the only other non-tropical place on earth that it rains this much, is in some remote part of Sweden.  I have no idea if that is true, but it does rain a lot here. Great town, though - plenty of umbrellas to go around. [http://www.ci.portland.or.us/pageart/citybanner.jpg]
