Post by clunt » 25 Nov 2016 11:11

Hi All,
Wondering if anyone could Identify the

G8-S3 3pack of styli from Grace?

I'm Trying to find one, but it looks to have a Conical stylus, an elliptical and something else?

Is there any way do decipher that info? I'd really like to know what the LM LH and LL styli are? they're not mentioned anywhere on that page...

There is no difference between the elliptical stylus, all - 0.2 x 0.8 mil.

Are your referring to something else, perhaps the cantilever? :?:

The tracking force - VTF ? :?:

So what differentiates the LM and LL styli? Or is there nothing mentioned there?

They have the same stylus specification - 0.2 X 0.8 mil (elliptical).

Perhaps a more knowledgeable member can help you. :)

Not sure (cannot read Japanese) but studying the Grace pickup brochure in the data base shows three different bodies for the F8 series
"Custom" one model:- 8C
A low impedance type (1.7k) :-8F, 8E and 8L
A high impedance type (2.4k) :- 8M and 8D

If you look at the 8L and 8M versions they have the same tracking force range and compliance figures- this could explain why you could have two styli with similar specs the notes could say which body they are for?

I have replied to this post that you duplicated on the 'Stylus For Grace F9' thread. The information I found is from the above database link. It is a great Grace info resource. Cheers...
