Starting 2019 in grand style... :D

Amazing looking and sounding Delta DL-304...
I want to add that with the sound of the factory Denon-304 my cartridge has little in common, which amazes me to a great extent. After all, I changed only the cantilever, the stylus and the order of winding the coils. The concept of the cartridge has been saved.

To an even greater extent, I was struck by another fact. During my endless experiments, I permanently damaged my Prototype - Delta-1. I decided on its basis to assemble a new cartridge and assembled it. To my surprise there was no limit when I heard the familiar old sound of a cartridge! ))
In the process of upgrading, I changed the wire, the winding, the core of the coils, the damper, the stylus, the length of the cantilever.

This is probably my handwriting and cannot be changed now, unless you work with your left hand))

With this useless piece from ORSONIC NC-1, my Denon DL 305 played very interesting. Or it just seemed to me. https://d.radikal.ru/d21/1901/18/d011fe02b939t.jpg

Audio Technica Signet TK5E : Love the sound but afraid when it's time to replace stylus, a little pricey.

Once again, I was visited by my favorite MM cartridge ))
Love at first sight is short-lived, so I was anxiously expecting repeated meetings.
The probability of such a meeting was low, there were very few cartridges left. But the miracle happened! ))
This time I was lucky to look into the bowels of the cartridge.

Coil replacement in AT 32E
=D> =D> =D>
How did you manage to remove the coils from their sockets?
The glue that holds them is much stronger than the nests themselves. =D>

Thank you
These old ATs are stronger than the new AT models.
A sharp scalpel, I first removed the wire and finally the core.

It looks like a sharpened nail! :) Are those the magnets sticking out the side? Decca carts are a unique design but I never saw one of those mono models before.

I am sure that this cartridge is mounted directly into the arm, so it was not visible.
It has a classic Decca design only without extra stereo coils.
What sticks to the sides is magnets. The magnetic gap can be changed, thereby it is possible to influence the sound stage.

The sound of Decca seemed narrow to me and I tuned it to Ortofon Mono))

Orthophone does not allow you to change your sound.
Let's leave it that way it is))

Nice cart Harry! You should be looking for a replacement stylus now! There out there, you just have to be vigilant!
I just got a TK3E body that I tried several different stylus on. Ended up going with a .2x.7 nude square shank! Sounds awesome!
