Beautiful. Did you adapt an existing MC motor assembly? Or is this entirely a new device?
This is the optimization of my MС generator, endless experiments with coils and cantilevers.
I raised the quality of parts processing and cartridge assembly to a new level.

I should not forget about cartridges from other manufacturers.
Ortofon SPU-G Mono 25 D.
This is the one that does not spoil the vinyl with stereo tracks, like Denon DL-102.

Yes, Merry Christmas to you Wimbo and everyone else here on VE. Hot day here in Victoria, currently 32C at 11.53, expecting a top of 34C but it could go higher. Yikes! Have a great day and hope you all get some great (analogue) gifts! =D> :D

My Newly Restored Grace F-9

I've had this cartridge since '85. Purchased it and the Grace Arm G-707 in Tokyo. I know I paid less than $200 for them both.
I broke the ruby cantilever about 7 years ago when I moved. I just found a guy on eBay that replaces the ruby cantilever with a better one, same ruby stylus. I'm very pleased.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the cantilever used to be Ruby, not the tip. You now appear to have an aluminium cantilever with the 'same' hyper-elliptical diamond tip. It is not a 'Ruby' anymore .....it's moreso an F9E.....but it will still sound fantastic. =D>

There is a guy on eBay who actually does sell new aluminum cantilevers with ruby tips (rather than diamond tips)... personally I'm not sure why anyone would choose a ruby tip over a diamond tip unless they enjoy replacing their stylus every 50-100 hours.

You are correct: the cantilever was ruby. Yes, it's replaced by an aluminum one, and yes, it sounds great. I played it all day Christmas.
