Now I have to mount a couple of AT carts this weekend, to give them some love. See what you guys do? Sheesh!🙄

Ok . MM. The only Denon cart I have is a lowly DL65. So what should I expect from that cart?
Wolfie, Try it on you DP-15F because the DL65 came standard on all non US and Canadian DP-15F turntables. The specifications should be similar (probably a little better) than the DL60 shown in the Database. Track at around 1.7 and adjust up or down. I had one for a very short period in the early eighties (got lost during a move) along with a Signet 1KEa. I ran them both on my 15. All I remember was that they both sounded good to me AT THE TIME (young and dumb  ), but the Signet was more alive and always played louder at the same volume due to better channel separation. DENON's 100 series MM carts were much better and their MC carts were best. But I'm biased. Hope this helps. :)
Cheers,
WillO

Denon DL-107

Just as sweet sounding as the legendary big brother, DL-103... :D

You really have to be listening to this to know what I'm talking about... really wonderful sound stage...

I'm sure :( . I can wait. Next time.

Meanwhile I'm comforting myself with the AM20s :). I finally sorted the Signets that use current stylus fitting; TKea series is 1982, MR 1985 and AM 1988. The MR and AM seems to have identical generators, with MR 5.0 Basic and AM10s as lower priced equivalents and with identical specs. MR 5.0 E, ME, LC & ML and AM20, 30, 40 & 50 all share the same body specs and styli equivalents. Putting a beryllium/LC on an AM20s, turns it into an AM40s 8) .

See to me that is just to high a risk for €200 IF as it likely it needs a complete rebuild. But borderline.
I have just bought this item, upon receipt will give it a full Adjust+ measurement and report back if there‘s interest.

Today listening to my AT 140 LC with newly acquired original NOS stylus (the last Thakker had available). Another one for the list here IMHO.

And one more: did Adjust+ measurements on a 1969 ADC 990XE - while the crosstalk with -12dB was not exactly up to date, the frequency response wasn't exactly bad really:

And it sounded surprisingly good, tight and very punchy bass with very lively and "musical" presentation, yet the channels really bled into another resulting in a smallish (and sometimes non-existent) soundstage. But mind you, 50 years old, with excellent musical representation! =D>
