That’s an Empire cart. Not sure which model number.

Thank you! Found it thanks to your advice.
It is an Empire 888, even the patent number matches.
Only missing the brand/type plate but won't sound any less I assume.

Best regards,

Edwin

Looks like maybe a Stanton or a Pickering?
But which model??
Those manufacturers often had identification stickers adhered to the cart.
Once lost, you're going to have problems...........

The opening for the stylus assembly on the cartridge isn´t square with a Pickering /Stanton but round - and the "rod" you slide inside a Stanton/Pickering also is round.
There are cartridges with square openings and square rods - so this sould be something different. Also it doesn´t have those metal "wings" a Stanton/Pickering has by which you screw the cartridge onto the headshell.

Possibly a Sonic Star S10-C. Under the following link, you can find a few pictures for a comparison:

Gooevening to all,

I searched google, but found nothing. I could use your experience here pls:

I found this cartridge on an Fidelity Research FR 54 which came along my new SP10mk2.
Does anyone knows which cartridge is it? And if yes, can we found any specs? The FR54 is a
medium weight tonearm. On the front side it says "super playback".

The brand seems to be "conduct" and the model ys-07c.

Thank you all for your time!

The 'Made in Japan' pic 2, could be a further clue here.
It could be a clone?
(measurement of the cart's resistance & inductance may further assist.)
There are others here who are well skilled in identifying cartridge rarities

Yes but clone of which one? I initially thought that the straight body would remind something to someone,
but I can't find nor the brand @conduct@, nor such model, nor the "super playback"
in any cartridge I have searched for.

Straight bodies are pretty standard with many cartridges.
More subtle features need to be looked for.
1. The stylus with the 2 raised protrusions on the face.
2. The cart body with the angled front face and the stylus insertion point on the bottom.
Voice of Music has a 'Japanese' styli section with images of ~150 items.
https://www.thevoiceofmusic.com/catalog ... eedles.asp
(Search by Cartridge Brand=Japanese)
I've seen nothing similar to your stylus.
