I have this mystery cartridge and I would like to know more. It is mostly plastic and has no markings other than a green dot. Quite mysterious.
That is a Marantz CT551 MM cartridge, which the Marantz TT551 turntable was equipped with.

That cartridge is a Mitsubishi 3D-44M a.k.a. Audio Technica AT-952 a.k.a. Sanyo MG-10. Probably sold under other names as well...

I think it is a Marantz cartridge, which was used in some of their turntables (TT221, TT320, TT420 for example).

Regards.

Thank you, that's it! To me it resembled AT and older Ortofons so I searched in wrong places, TT model (from which it came) also was no help.

Not really... .

It is a generator of a Philips GP400 series cartridge, with the mounting bracket/frame missing. The stylus seems to be from a Philips GP412.

Can anyone assist with identifying this probably: generic, low end vintage cartridge, from the 1970s please?
-possibly Japanese manufacture?

It seems to be an OEM Excel QD-700E cartridge.

From the specs of the review, it is better than low end (0.2 x 0.8 mil bonded elliptical diamond).

Regards.
