Stylus for Empire 2000 E lll

I’m looking for suggestions on what type of stylus to purchase for an Empire 2000 E lll cartridge and where to get it. I’m also looking for a spindle for an ELAC Miracord 625, if anyone has suggestions.

Thanks

The Voice of Music website has a 4237-DET, made (theoretically) by Jico in Japan - only $14. Japanese generics are usually decent. Worth a shot.

Thanks Larry. I wasn’t aware of that company, have you used them, reputable? I just went to Jico and they want $66 + $22 for shipping, quite a difference in price. Any other ideas for single center spindles?

Yes, I've used them several times - they (actually he - Gary) have an excellent reputation in the audiophile community. No suggestion on the spindle, though I'd guess one from another series (like a 10 or 50) might work.

Thank Again Larry, I’ll give them a try. I’m getting my stereo system from the 70’s back on line. Still sounds good with CD’s, now I need to get the vinyl going.
