Hi everyone,I just got a bsr c129r2 in pretty good shape. My question is about the one rca connector. The black one looks like plastic on the center post and the other rca is metal. Can you explain what this is about? Should it be changed? Any help would be great!
Thanks, John

Hi, yep that RCA end with the plastic center is bad. If that was the end pushed inside the RCA input on a receiver then the metal center piece is stuck inside that female rca input. If that end in your picture was pushed into the female RCA plugs inside the turntable make sure you check that RCA plug and remove that metal piece from that rca plug if it's in there. You will probably need a needle nose pliers to get it out. I would then throw that set of RCA cables away and pick up a new set. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply, I will get a new cable. The other end is soldered in my turntable.
