...and it appears they're promising delivery in August. At best, I believe they started off with the best intentions. Does this mean they will not be delivering?

Now backers are being asked to pay another €1200 for a unit or wait for the company to become successful and then get a refund

Hello,

That is dreadful, but I guess these crowdfunding startups are not without risk. TBH I don't know what the trading company's home country is, and if that even makes a difference, but in Britain and I should imagine all civilised nations, trading whilst insolvent is illegal, and this firm, who now are clearly insolvent, should be made to cease trading.

Sadly it looks like the project costing was totally wrong. Backers should be getting units at production cost, which can be a lot higher than BOM cost.
The final retail price is very high for a novelty
