This place is my sanctuary!

I got a view on the forest while I listen to some good music and drinking coffee. I'm enjoying a coffee listening to The Cure - Disintegration while I have a week off! I'll start a new job next tuesday after 11 years at the same place. I felt I needed a change!

Anyways this is really a peaceful place to enjoy a week off :)

48837700336_201e0f16d6_k.jpg[/img] I've shown my system on several occasions after making upgrades; but, those images were never cropped to show my sub. Here it is, a circa 1986 JBL B380 passive/ported model with 15 inch driver. It's powered by the Sony TA-N80ES delivering 560 watts in mono mode. My digital multi-channel preamp/processor (Sony TA-E9000ES) is set to crossover mains at 60HZ and it controls sub volume too.
So nice to see people enjoying classic equipment...just like me! :D

Might need a larger room?

Lovely room, but got to ask, what are the speakers, oh go on then what's on the rack?

Hello, guys. Speakers are the B&W Matrix 800, being moved by some Electrocompaniets (AW250DMB + EC 4.7 MKII). CD player is an all terrain Vincent CD S3 HDCD, working with no fails since 2004. Rack was handmade following Audio Rack's scheme (simple, beauty, cheap).

Jorgitox, I am officially jealous of your listening space. If I could afford it I'd do the same. I hope you enjoy it as much as I know I would. =D> :D [-o<

Haven't changed things too recently, other than the MoFi Ultradeck, and the Mivera amp. Room treatment makes a HUGE difference. I highly recommend it if you can implement it.

That looks fantastic, even the marble/granite base catches the eye. Congrats!

Could you elaborate a bit on the ac. treatment that you have implemented?

Thanks EfeTe,
The treatments are GIK Tri Traps, 244's and 242's. I'm not sure what you mean by marble/granite base, but the rack top is tinted glass over MDF painted black.
