I actually have three. Will be getting one or two more after Christmas. Besides the two you see I have a Stanton T-92 in my broadcast system and I will be getting another of those for that system. But I plan to upgrade to something a little nicer from my other two, and possibly another vintage receiver/amplifier.

I've been a Magneplanar user and restorer since the late '70s. These are Tympani II's, stripped of their old pressed board frame and mounted together in a hard maple frame.
the tweeter section on both panels was restored about 10 years ago with Magnepan wire and to the original specs. I re-capped the crossover networks at that time also.
I use a JBL 15" subwoofer also

Really nice job on the Magneplanars - they look great.
Any details on your JBL sub?

Clem- nice woodworking job, great looking room, can you take a picture of the rack on the left for me.
What JBL driver are you using, and what kind of cabinet is it in?

The nice thing about that room is that you have some space to work with...What is the cabinet you're using for your equipment...It looks like a nice fit for the equipment you have now...How many records do you have and where are you keeping THEM? :-k

Very nice set-up, object...The Techie and Realistic receiver really look good in the room! By the way, what are the record crates you're using? I always try to snag any that I find, but they're not as common as they once were, esp. ones like this that fit the 12" records perfectly...

I have this Yaffa block that has performed a similar job...

With the vinyl resurgence, I think they need to bring stuff like this back, maybe in a variety of colors for the newbies...Why can't they make vinyl FUN again like it was in the 70's and 80's??? :-k

TBH, I have no idea where they cam from, I think the wife had them. Been sitting in my basement for the last 18 years.
