Hello everyone. here is my lamp system
I don't understand what a lamp system is. I do understand the effortlesss volume you can get from those JBL's. Very nice system you've got there.

Just looking at your system tells me you have put a lot of thought into it. I'm admiring you too.

Impressive space, although cries out for acoustic treatment. The right panels would look cool in there.
That's adobe. So it's just dirt (and there's not an even surface in the room). It doesn't actually reflect as much as you'd think. The floor, is brick on sand. While we were painting, that's one of the things we noticed. No echos.
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

It's an interesting building process really, if you've never seen them. This is what the blocks are

I assume that it's the fact that they're unfired that keeps them so porous, and why they don't reflect like block or brick does. At some point, when I make new furniture for that wall, I'll add some diffusion or absorption to the furniture... but the lack of echos was a bit odd. BTW, the paint did add a bit more reflection than when it was just raw unpainted adobes.

Edit: They do an amazing job of blocking wifi, cell, and other transmission signals though. I've had to backhaul a number of wifi points to get decent coverage through the house, which at least makes modern cellular phones work (by jumping onto wifi for telephone access). It also complicates things like hanging TVs etc.
